- A reasonable fee only when a venue sits more than 90 minutes away, such as parts of Indiana, Wisconsin, or Michigan.
So “free for most events” is exactly that. In fact, almost every wedding, party, and corporate booking falls inside the free zone.
Our Farthest Event: A Real Example
One of our favorite trips went to the Palais Royale in South Bend, Indiana, for a New Year’s Eve wedding. Yes, it was a longer drive. Even so, we planned the logistics carefully. As a result, everything ran perfectly. The booth even became a highlight of the night.

A fee applies only for events well outside Chicagoland. For example, think Rockford, southern Wisconsin, northwest Indiana, or Michigan. Anywhere in Chicago and the suburbs stays free. For those longer trips, the fee simply covers a few things:
- The extra drive time beyond our service area
- Fuel and crew time for a much longer day
- The same high-quality setup, even hours from home
